Join the spring-skitrips from Finse in May!
Not everyone agrees that Skarverennet is supposed to be the last skitrip of the season. Finse 1222 arranges the classic spring-skitrip every Saturday in May. Finse 1222 has professional guides that takes care of you and points out the route. The beautiful nature this trip presents cannot be described, it has to be experienced, but we'll explain the route. When it comes to experiencing beautiful nature, this trip has got several spectacular elements. Starting from Finse in the morning, the trip goes up the glacier-arm, Bukkeskinnsbreen, over the Hardangerjøkulen (glacier). On the other side we pass across several small lakes and the glacier-fall beneath the Demmevass-cabin. From here you can see the green valleys in the Hradangerfjord, enjoy the spectacular view. The trip continues to the steep cliff down to Simadalen. Skies are kept on until there is no snow. Before you end this trip a swim in the wild river in the bottom of the valley is mandatory...
